Description

- And so, it begins.
Winston Scott

Some believed that the third part of John Wick is the ultimate action movie, filled to the brim with perfectly choreographed and visually astounding gunfights. The same was believed for the choice of firearms used in the film. With a myriad of world-renowned firearm platforms and models, it was nigh impossible to make any notable progress in the matter.

They were wrong.

The fourth part of John Wick's battle against the High Table improves every aspect of the production. With almost three hours of runtime, JW4 ties up the epic story of a fallen ex-assassin on his journey to redemption while leaving open gates to potentially continue the story.
All fast-paced, jaw-dropping action scenes, chases, and gunfights culminate in Paris, where Baba Yaga receives THE gun.

- I'm going to need a gun.
- I thought you'd never ask.

John Wick and the Bowery King

Once again, Taran Butler from Taran Tactical Innovations was asked to provide the apex firearm for the man usually sent to kill the Boogeyman.
The ordered firearm was developed as the parent pistol to the well-acclaimed Sand Viper, Taran Butler's newest powerhouse race gun, which he and his R&D team built from the ground up. Unlike the Sand Viper, the Pit Viper had to lurk in the shadows, waiting for the chance to strike swiftly and deadly with the movie's premiere and first airing.

- 9mm Pit Viper. 21-round capacity magazine with a built-in compensator for virtually no muzzle flip. Fiber optic front sight. Ambidextrous safeties. Flared magwell for easier reloads. Two-pound extreme trigger.
The Bowery King

The Pit Viper was explicitly created for a man of focus, commitment, and sheer will to act as THE ultimate fighting pistol ever designed. Nothing was compromised in creating this beauty, and no corners were cut. Based on the venerable M1911, the design was again revised, upgraded, and outfitted with a myriad of tuning parts, delivering unbeatable reliability, accuracy, and performance in one perfectly tuned package.
The list of integrated elements is as long and impressive as the titular hero's feats. It includes the best brand components such as Extreme Engineering Fire Control Group (Lite Speed Hammer, Ultra Low Mass Sear, Match Disconnector, and Titanium Hammer Strout), AFTEC-type extractor, and their own modifications. Those include a large, single-port compensator, lightweight, precision-cut slide with high polishing, TTI Carry magwell, extended slide release, TTI grip job, extended magazine release button with checkering, and other elements, modifications, and upgrades. And to top it off - the piece that gave the Pit Viper its iconic name:

- And for those more, how should we say - intimate encounters, this Viper has ferocious fangs.
The Bowery King

The firearm has a custom-shaped frame with two CNC-machined blades that mimic the Viper fangs that the protagonist effectively uses in the film's closing scenes. These blades, along with custom slide serrations, a grip job, and DLC-coated elements, serve as a great aesthetic addition to the already gorgeously-looking firearm.

As the officially licensed product, the replica aims to recreate its firearm parent in terms of accurate looks and performance. Every element was precisely CNC machined, injection molded, and manufactured to meet the highest quality standards and be as accurate as possible to the real-life pistol.

Major elements of the replica, such as the frame, slide, compensator, outer barrel, and magazine, were cast and CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum. Additional "touches" were made to keep the visuals and aesthetics of the original in the final product. A matte coating was applied to protect those elements from external factors. Also, TTI laser-engraved markings and factory serial numbers are the literal "chef's kiss" towards the users, increasing the realism even further. Other minor elements are machined from steel to withstand shocks and forces generated during shooting.

Smaller parts like the ambidextrous safety, magazine release button, and slide release lever are also finely crafted and tuned for flawless work. The adjustable sights help with fast target acquisition, while the trigger is crisp and mimics the feel of the authentic mechanism. The contoured grip has an aggressive texture and is injection-molded from polymers. The unique pattern is visually appealing and guarantees a firm grip and control over the replica.

The quality and performance of the Pit Viper go hand in hand with its parent firearm and interlock with the performance-driven mindset that gave birth to this project.
