The MP7 A1 GBR, manufactured by Heckler & Koch, is a compact, gas-blowback submachine gun replica that boasts a detailed reproduction of the appearance of the parent firearm. The HK MP7, belonging to the Personal Defence Weapon category, was proposed along with the FN P90 as a firearm to meet the NATO requirements from year 1989 for a compact and lightweight weapon to defeat Soviet-issued body armor.
