Maxim 9 is the officially licensed airsoft gas blow-back pistol replica manufactured by Krytac.
The real firearm was developed and manufactured by SilencerCo, a US-based company founded in 2008 in West Valley City, Utah. The company specializes in the production of high-quality firearm silencers and provides legal counsel to customers regarding silencer approval.

SilencerCo's vast experience gathered throughout the years of silencer manufacturing was applied with tremendous success in developing a rare type of firearm. The final product, the Maxim 9, is currently the only commercially available, integrally suppressed handgun on the market. It is also one of few firearms designed with an integral suppressor that is furtherly adjustable in length and performance.

To solve the old problem of the weight and sizes of suppressed firearms, the R&D team used a clever solution and designed a modular device that is noticeably shorter and lighter.
The sound-dampening baffles are refined and integrated into swappable modules. Maxim 9, in short configuration, grants sound dampening for subsonic ammunition at a safe-hearing level. In the full-sized configuration, the same effect applies to all cartridges.

Airsoft Maxim 9, just like its authentic counterpart, is precisely manufactured using high-quality materials and components.
The frame is injection molded from reinforced polymers—the textured surface guarantees a sufficient and firm grip. The enlarged trigger guard allows comfortable use with tactical or insulated gloves.
The silencer baffles, and slide was CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy anodized black. It also utilizes an optics cut and is compatible with the Krytac Multi-footprint plate for RMR, RMRcc, and RMS plates (sold separately).

Chosen materials provide high resistance to scratches and external damage and guarantee long and reliable work of the internal mechanisms. It is worth adding that the Maxim 9 accepts green gas and CO2 magazines without any modifications. This set is supplied with a single, 24-round green gas magazine. Another feature is a fire selector switch hidden inside the rear of the slide, allowing single or automatic fire modes. The pistol is fully ambidextrous and comfortable for both left—and right-handed users.
The modular silencer section mimics the sound-dampening effect. It is machined to fit the Acetech BiFrost tracer unit with an extension kit (sold separately).
For this purpose, a fixed, threaded inner barrel is installed to allow attachment of the tracer module. Additional KeyMod slots are integrated into the design and enable outfitting specialized equipment like flashlights and laser sights.

To further increase the replica's authenticity, the official SilencerCo trademarks were engraved on the corresponding elements of the model. This, paired with excellent materials and an advanced and precise manufacturing process, offers a futuristic-looking pistol with a top-notch performance.
