PP-19-01 Vityaz, made by Arcturus, is a replica of a new submachine gun designed by the Izhmash/Kalashnikov Group. The original AK design was downscaled and rechambered to accept 9mm cartridges and dedicated magazines but still retains characteristic elements of the parent gun. This paved the way for a simple yet highly reliable and effective compact submachine gun.
This 470/710mm long replica is fed from a dedicated, curved magazine, weighs 2800g, and fires from semi- and full-automatic modes.
Main elements like the body, railed dust cover, foldable stock, gas block, sight block, gas tube, and other small components are machined from steel. At the same time, the outer barrel and a few minor parts are fabricated from high-quality aluminum and metal alloys. The only components made from polymers are the handguard, pistol grip, and magazine.
Like the original, the receiver is fabricated from stamped steel for superb resistance to wear and damage. It is furtherly covered in an anti-corrosion coating. The steel dust cover is outfitted with a Picatinny rail. It is attached to the gas block via a hinge for easy access and zero retention. Each replica has a unique serial number engraved on the receiver.
At the front, we can find a polymer handguard with two Picatinny rails - one at the top and one on the side. This setup allows users to attach accessories and equipment suitable to their needs, preferences, or mission/game requirements.
